Five habits

This is a great question! And here is my best answer.
First, less is more. People think they need to adopt all of the success habits they see that high achievers use. The truth is that what works well for Tony Robbins might not work the same for you. The key is to know yourself and your strengths and weaknesses. You want to put habits in place that maximize your strengths and at the same time improve on your weakness.
For example, if one of your strengths is that once you start on something, you are very good at finishing, but a weakness for you is you procrastinate and have trouble starting in the first place; you will want to put a habit in place that allows you to maximize and overcome both. A good idea for this would be to force yourself each day to tackle your biggest challenge first before you can go to anything else. This will force you to overcome your procrastination and allow you to focus on getting your most important item completed.
Before implementing any habit you should make sure that you can leverage the habit to help you in multiple ways. That being said, over the years and through working with some of the top entrepreneurs in the world including several billionaires; I have noticed a few habits that are consistent across the most successful that can help anyone. These can be used for any area of your life.
Leave Nothing to Chance
Leaving nothing to chance is all about planning and strategizing for success. The most successful plan their day, week, month, and set goals for the year. They want control of their success in every form from their business to their wealth, health, and so on. You can do this too. Plan each day. Know exactly what you have to do to reach your goals and work that in daily, weekly, and monthly. This habit will make a huge difference in your life as it gives you purpose and causes you to be deliberate in going about your life and success. Here is a link to a great resource from a friend of mine and performance guru, Craig Ballantyne, to help you in this area. The Perfect Day Formula
Choosing Your State of Mind
Another habit that the most successful practice is control over their state of mind and emotions. Simply put, they choose their attitude and approach to their life each day. They don’t let themselves be controlled by emotional reactions or outside influences. They control the state of their mind and this power helps them to achieve more and think more clearly. How do they do this? There a lot of ways. It can be different for each person and this is where knowing yourself is important. What are you prone to have negative reactions to? What makes you “fly off the handle?” What types of situations derail you? Once you know what these are, you can start to recognize your reactions and stop them, redirect your focus to what you can control, and move forward. I have a few habits that I have found that work well for me. They may benefit you as well. Here is a short video and some resources on them.
Self-Education
Walk into any highly successful person’s office or home and I will bet you there is a personal library somewhere. High achievers are voracious self-developers. They know that they don’t know everything and that in order to grow, they will need to learn and challenge their assumptions. They are always on the lookout for new ideas and how they can use them to reach their goals faster. They truly understand that knowledge is power and use this fact to gain an edge in their pursuits. It is incredible what you can learn and the worlds that will open up to you by getting in the habit of reading just one book a month. In fact, after a few years, it’s amazing where you will be. Below is a picture of one of my bookshelves. I have multiple others like it. It is so nice to be able to pull a book off the shelf and read about a specific topic or when an idea hits, grab one that has expertise on the subject. I honestly don’t know how I managed to read all these over the years, but I am truly grateful for having done so and would not have accomplished half of what I have without this habit!
As noted at the beginning, the habits that will work best for you will be personal to you and allow you to maximize your strengths and turn your weaknesses into strengths. Take time to self-reflect and decide what these are for you. Best in your success!

Five habits

Health:
I. Get Enough Sleep!
While it’s wildly underrated in our achievement driven society, getting sufficient amounts of HIGH QUALITY sleep every night is absolutely crucial to every area of your life.
Every worthwhile subject on the study has shown that sleep deprivation is linked to obesity, reduced cognitive functioning, memory loss, diabetes, and even depression.
In fact, I would say that if you want to improve every area of your life as quickly as possible, you should start by hacking your sleep.
Here are a few tips for optimizing your sleep and maximizing your zzzs
-Black out your room
-Turn the Thermostat to 65–67 F
-Take 1,000 Mg of Magnesium 1 hour before bed
-Drink a cup of warm water or herbal tea with 2 Tbsp of Apple Cider Vinegar and 1 TBSP of Raw Honey
-Go to bed at the same time every day, preferably before 11 pm (your body releases a slew of chemicals around 11 pm each night that are designed to promote healing and rest… But if you are awake, it will only increase your alertness and make it more difficult to fall asleep)
-Turn off ALL electronics for 2 hours before bed (hard to do but incredibly effective)
-Eat a high fat snack to satiate your appetite and prevent midnight cravings
II. JERF (Just Eat Real Food)
People underestimate how important your diet is in how well your body functions.
They fail to realize that just because you aren’t overweight DOES NOT mean that you are healthy.
Your diet will affect everything from your energy levels to your sex drive, to your ability to focus, to your memory, so it’s important that you take care of this.
The only problem is that there are SO many diets out there… So how do we know which one to follow?
Personally, I don’t have time to research every single vegetable and fruit that I buy at the store, so I like to keep things simple and JERF or Just eat real food.
Basically 80% of the time, you should be eating foods that you can either grow or hunt (meaning you are either eating meat or vegetables and fruit… not processed crap)
The other 20% of the time, you can cheat and enjoy your life… Because it’s too damn short not to enjoy an occassional cheeseburger.
If you want bonus points, you can start practicing IF or intermittent fasting which basically means you eat all of your meals within an 8 hour window.
Personally, I drink coffee with cinamon from around 9 a.m. until noon and then I have my first meal or a smoothie.
III. Exercise 3X a Week
I am sure that this point has been beaten to death, but it bears repeating.
Few things will have a more positive impact on your health and well being than regular exercise.
From improved mood (studies have shown exercise is MORE effective than pharmaceutical grade anti depressants) to an increased sex drive, better memory, and cognitive function exercise helps you do life better.
But you don’t have to be in the gym for 10 hours a week to get the benefits.
A 30 minute workout 3–4x a week is all that you need (and some studies suggest even less).
Avoid doing too much cardio and instead train with free weights or your own body weight for optimal results.
Check out Mark Rippetoe starting strenght, convict conditioning, or Bigger Leaner Stronger to get started.
IV. Take Cold Showers and Ice Baths
WTF?? Ice baths??
I can hear it already… and NO I am not a crazy masochist or someone who particularly enjoys the cold.
I have simply experienced the benefits of cold water therapy first hand.
From decreased inflammation to increased testosterone, cold showers have a plethora of benefits that are hard to find anywhere else.
For beginners, all you need to do is turn the faucet all the way on cold for the last 60 seconds of your morning shower.
For real killers, opt for a 20 minute ice bath 3 x a week (do it an hour before bed and you will have the best sleep of your life) .
V. Supplement Wisely
If you are following all of the above advice, your health should improve DRASTICALLY.
To take things to the next level, I recommend experimenting with a simple stack like this one
Vitamin D3 (Jarrow’s Formula)
Omega 3s (Ideally Jarrow’s Krill Oil)
Vitamin K
Zinc and Copper (Bulletproof Brand)
Creatine (Jarrow’s formula.. This is great for muscular recovery and cognitive function)
**It should go without saying that what you DONT do is just as important as what you ARE doing… If you smoke a pack a day and snort an eight ball every weekend, your health will suffer. Cut out all negative habits first then focus on the above habits**
Wealth
I. Save 20% of your Income
I know this number might sound like a lot, but I promise that you can do it.
The more money that you can save the better equipped you will be to handle financial distress and financial opportunity.
II. Optimize Your Taxes
If you are currently a W2 employee, I highly recommend finding a way to transition into a 1099 Contractor position (talk with your employer, you would be surprised how often they are willing to help you with this change).
As a contractor, you can write off expenses like meals, gasoline, business trips, coffee with clients, and a whole slew of other things, decreasing your tax burden and increasing the amount of disposable income that you can save and invest.
III. Create a Conscious Spending Plan
Unless you are exceptionally well disciplined, sticking to a budget simply won’t happen… The statistics are in and budgeting doesn’t work.
Instead, analyze your finances and decide what is important to you and what is not.
Do you love shopping? Great! Cut back on the number of times that you eat out each week to free up more money for clothes.
Do you want a kickass apartment? No problem, you shouldn’t feel guilty about spending more on your rent than most people as long as you make up for it by cutting back in other areas.
Decide what you care about and what you don’t and then create a financial plan accordingly.
IV. Invest 10% Of Your Income into Low Risk Index and Mutual Funds
I recommend that you check out Tony Robbins’ Money Master the Game for more info on this, but I will suffice it to say that if you want financial peace and freedom, you MUST leverage compound interest.
V. Educate Yourself
Unfortunately, our education system doesn’t teach you a damn thing about money. So it’s up to you to learn all that you can and master this area of your life…
I recommend
I will teach you to be rich
Financial Peace
Money Master the Game
7 Years to 7 Figures
Relationships
I. Understand the Law of 30%
Jim Rohn said that you are the average of the five people you spend your time with most.
The need to understand the importance and the impact of your social circle cannot be understated.
The law of 30% states that you should spend
30% of your time with people “Above” you (e.g. mentors and people you look up to)
30% with people on your level (peers who have similar goals and ambitions and are in a similar place)
30% with people “Below” you (people you can mentor and help… paying it forward and improving the world.
II. Meet 1 New Person a Day
You should make it your goal to say “Hi” to one stranger each and every day.
By utilizing this tactic, you will quickly increase your network, meet potential romantic partners, and likely make a few great friends.
Always be networking and you quickly change your life.
III. Go to Local Meetups
If you want to quickly improve your social circle or dating life, go on weekly meetups to events that you enjoy.
It’s a great and easy way to automatically connect with people who have similar interests and goals to you.
IV. Go on a Date a Week
Whether you are in a relationship or looking for one, you should try and go out on at least one date a week.
If you are single, this will help you master your dating life and quickly find a suitable partner.
If you are in a relationship already, this will deepen your connection with your partner, increase your intimacy and give you time to focus on each other and get away from your hectic lives.
V. Read the entire “Mars Venus” Book Series
I know this isn’t a “Habit” per se. But few things will have a greater positive impact on your understanding and ability to interact with potential partners than these books.
Buy them, read them, and then read them again.
Personal Growth
I. Read for 30 Minutes a Day
Do you want to increase your level of presence and power in every area of your life?
Do you want to quickly grow and excel at a rate you previously thought impossible.
Do you want to have millionaire mentors who can guide you on your path to success?
Then read m’fer READ.
I have read (literally) hundreds of books and it’s a large part of the reason I have been able to build a 6 (going on 7) figure business, connect with hustlers like Grant Cardone, Gary Vaynerchuk, and Jordan Belfort, and build a company I love helping men all around the world.
Commit 30 minutes a day to self education and your life will never be the same.
II. Meditate
If you want to clear your head, live with more presence and focus then meditation is your golden ticket.
And the best part about it?
It’s absolutely free and takes only 10 minutes a day to be effective.
Set a timer each morning while you are making your coffee or tea and sit in a comfortable chair. For 10 minutes, scan your body, focus on your breathing, and get SUPER present.
The first few times it will be hard and you probably won’t notice a difference for at least 2 weeks. But if you stick with it, you will find that your stress and anxiety will plummet and you will show up more powerfully in every area of your life.
III. Listen to Podcasts During Your Commute
What if you could listen to the best wisdom from the highest achievers all around the world without taking any extra time out of your day?
Well… You can.
Instead of jamming out to T Swift and Jay Z on your way to work, download a few podcasts (like my own Knowledge For Men) and listen to them while you drive to and from work.
As Brian Tracy says, turn your commute into a “University on Wheels”/
IV. Journal
Our lives are hectic and chaotic, and sometimes it feels like our whole world is spinning out of control.
In addition to meditating, journaling is one of the quickest ways to reduce your stress and anxiety and quickly clear your head.
I recommend that you check out the Five Minute journal or simply do the following every morning.
  1. Write 3–5 things you are grateful for
  2. Write 1–2 challenges you are currently trying to overcome
  3. Write your top 3 priorities for the day
  4. Write down your five biggest goals
V. Get a Coach
Nothing will help you improve your life faster than having one on one access to someone who has already achieved the results you are looking for and is trained to help you analyze, dissect, and rebuild your life EXACTLY the way you want it.
With the right coach you will no longer be able to hide behind excuses and inaction. You will be pushed to achieve and excel at a level you never thought possible and you will find your life transforming before your very eyes.
I have had coaching clients …
-Go from being broke to building six figure businesses.
-Lose hundreds of pounds of fat
-Overcome a devastating divorce and find the woman of their dreams
-Find their purpose and stop living a life of mediocrity.
But this isn’t a sales pitch for my services.
You should find a coach that you feel is right for YOU and a coach you feel will meet your needs and help you overcome your obstacles.

Conclusion
I know this was a bit long winded but I felt that the question deserved a complete answer.
I hope that this helps give you some guidance and direction and if you have any questions, feel free to comment below and I will get back to you.

Life is all about fighting with problems. Make some good habits , convert them into lifestyle ,then see the changes that accrue to your life .
  1. I will improve bit by bit daily
Give your mind a thought that I will improve my self daily, however a little bit , but yes daily.
2. I will not compromise with my dreams
I will work hard ,harder and hardest to reach at my goal and that too daily.
3. I will prefer saving money
Even Warren buffet has preferred this one.You spend out of what is remained with you after savings . Do not spend on useless items.I will save some amount daily.
4. I will do good things to other and will not do gossiping
Gossiping is really a bad thing which brings your mental level as well as your image as a person down in front of other persons.I will not gossip and yes I will do something good for other daily.
5. I will make a daily to do list

Five habits

  1. Control your mind. Do meditation, do yoga and stabilize your mind. Stop getting distracted.
  2. Watch what you eat. Avoid eating excess sugar, carbs and oily food which disbalances your body.
  3. Drink lots of water. You must be bored seeing this again and again and everyday but this is IMPORTANT.
  4. Boys and girls will come and go. Time will not. Use it judicially for your own betterment. You will find your match, till then keep developing yourself both mentally and physically.
  5. Stop procrastinating. Its the biggest threat to your success. It acts as a hurdle to achieve your goals.

Five habits

Habit #1: Adopt tit for tat mentality. Even if you think you are having a fair relationship with your friends look at your friends and find out if they would do you a favour. Of course only if you did something for them first. Just test them and look for fake friends.
Habit #2: Say yes more often. Of course there are always the people who say to NO NO NO say NO more often its important to say NO all the time so you have more time. But trust me just on this…you are gonna miss out very much opportunities if you say NO all the time. Of course you should weighting in opportunity cost when you decide, but in general life gets more beautified if you say YES more often.
Habit #3: Work on your word choice. Don´t say the old words over and over again. Every day you go ahead and learn one new word. That makes you more interesting and elevates your conversation on a whole new level.
Habit #4: Watch more videos. Yes, watch more knowledge videos. Because what will happen if you watch more videos? Your dopamine increases and you will feel more receptive to take in even more information. So don´t only rely on only one source of knowledge like reading. You will soon get bored and don´t use that single source anymore and your learning process will decline.
Habit #5: Connect with old friends again. Look in your phone and call some old but gold friends. Because here is why: New friends are good but the old ones are the ones you want to keep. Never forget your old friends. You can easily reconnect with them. It is much more easy than reconnecting with new friends.

Five habits

1. Focus on gratitude.
It’s difficult to be angry, frustrated, jealous, or upset when you are focused on the positive things that you already had. It’s often the most important things that we already have in life that is overlooked such as our family, our friends, our cars, our health, and even our homes. There are always people who are less fortunate and have to live in worst circumstances.
2. Treat everyone with kindness.
You have the ability to treat everyone with kindness, regardless if you agree with them. This is important not only for your friends, your family, your co-workers but also the people you interact with on a daily basis but do not know. When you treat others well, they will reciprocate and treat you well in return.
3. Let go of the little things that don’t matter.
Don’t get caught up and consumed by small things that don’t have a major effect in your life. Don’t get frustrated or angry about what this one person might have said about you or if things didn’t turn out exactly how you planned or wanted. It’s wasted energy that could be better used elsewhere and serves no one.
4. Read a positive book for at least 10 minutes.
Expand your knowledge and skills or relax by consuming a valuable or insightful book that can help you in a specific area of life that you are working on or are curious about.
5. Create opportunities, don’t wait for them.
There will never be a perfect time to start or do something. Waiting for it will certainly delay you from reaching your goal or taking action. Be proactive and create the ‘right timing’.

Five habits

Creating a Pending Jobs List.
A time will come in your life, when you’ll find a lot of jobs pending. You’ll also notice that during this time there will be a kind of uneasiness around you. You’ll as if something is not right. You might also find that life is getting too tough on you.
What should you do under such circumstances?
You must start by finishing up all your pending jobs.
How to finish all the pending jobs?
The first step is to make a list of all the jobs that are pending. Once, you’ve prepared the list, hang it on a wall, so that you can see it each day.
After this, start completing the jobs one by one. And each time, you complete a job, strike that one off the list. This way you’ll be able to see your progress. Each time you strike an item off you will feel a magical experience.
It will feel as if a burden has been lifted. And you will feel a bit relaxed and lighter.
If you don’t start tackling them one by one, they will mess up with your head and will make your life miserable. Never let them pile up. Because they are not just jobs piling up, they are tensions piling up. The higher the pile the worse it can make your life.
Tackle them one by one.
You’ll not be able to finish them all in just one day. You must tackle them one by one. Do not get overwhelmed by the list. They are not supposed to be completed in a short time. They are supposed to be addressed one by one.
There’s lot of power in finishing tasks one by one. It works like compound interest. After each task, your brain gets a high, and this high gets compounded each time a task is done and is struck off from the list.
Once you get used to this , you’ll become unstoppable.
Gradually you’ll see that you have conquered all the jobs. There is no item left on the list that needs to be done.
Create a new list.
Till now we were discussing job that were compulsory. These were jobs like paying the bills, filing a tax return, repairing your car, etc. Now, we will concentrate on things that would enrich our lives.
What about a list like the following:
  • Creating a piggy bank to finance your next vacation
  • Painting a wall with your spouse
  • Getting a new pair of shorts for yourself
  • Preparing for your first 10K
  • Reading a new book
  • A weekend holiday trip
These are the things that will bring happiness in your life. But we are all so much consumed by the headaches of life that we don’t get time to concentrate on things that bring happiness.
How to build a list of happiness?
There are generally two things that bring happiness in our lives:
  • Healthy Relationships , &
  • Personal growth
Hence, your list should address the needs of the above two things.
Under healthy relationships you should focus on the following things:
  • Relationship with your spouse
  • Relationship with your children
  • Relationship with your parents
  • Relationship with your friends
Under personal growth you should focus on the following things:
  • Your health – Nutrition, exercise etc.
  • Connection with God (If you believe in God)
  • Feeding your mind with good books
  • Dressing well
Conclusion
I have personally tested the above things. They worked for me & I find no reason as to why they wouldn’t work for you.

Five Habits

This is what I have done to change my habits to improve my life
  • Do a 30-day challenge, focusing on just ONE habit.
  • Write it out on paper, along with your motivations, obstacles, and strategies for overcoming them.
  • Commit fully, in a public way.
  • Log your progress.
  • Remain publicly accountable — report on your progress each day.
  • Have support for when you falter — either in real life or online.
  • Reward every little success.
  • If you fail, figure out what went wrong, plan for it, and try again.
  • 5 habits that changed my life
There was a time in my early 20’s when I lived in complete victimhood. I would always wonder why I never had this or could do that but looking back I realised how I was to blame. There was always a reason or excuse as to why things were a certain way yet what I failed to notice was that I was creating my reality by my choices, actions, behaviours and thoughts.
I have come a long way since then and regardless of what is going on in my life I always bring my attention and focus within because this is where all of our suffering and problems begin – in our perception.
Part of my transformation included changing those habits which were no longer serving me. Your habits, behaviours and thoughts can be changed to work for you not against you. It takes self-discipline, persistence and consistency – however the results are worth it.
I have put in place the below habits in my life and have reaped incredible benefits.
1. There Is Only Now: ‘Living in the moment’ is thrown around so much these days and I must say I didn’t ‘get it’ for a long time. If you are still in this place my advice is to persist. Because when the penny finally drops it will change your life. Your critical self-talk keeps you thinking about your past and worried about the future – with practice you can get a handle on it (start with my free 9-page Mind Detox Mini-Guide here). In those moments when your mind is completely quiet and all you feel is lightness, peace and joy – you’ve got it and that my friend is a beautiful place to be. It truly is where life happens.
2. Simplicity Is Everything: In our modern, busy, hectic, crazy, technological world we can begin to feel like we are going no-where fast, especially with all the media in our face telling us how we should look, the material items we must have and the lifestyle that goes along with this. I found my inner happiness started saying ‘no’ more often and reduced my need for excess ‘stuff’. Simplicity is the new black.
3. Be Curious: Curiosity…one little word, one BIG result. I was always one to keep to myself, fairly shy and wasn’t interested in expanding my horizons. Only when I decided to open myself up to people, the world and new experiences and let go of my judgments and ideas around what I ‘thought’ interested me, did I begin to really touch on the beauty, depth, joy and experience of life. Curiosity will take you on a beautiful journey full of richness, joy and fulfillment.
4. Set Boundaries: Are you a people pleaser, always saying ‘yes’ only to be pulled from all directions helping others? Do you have a FOM (fear of missing out) and socialise far to often to the detriment of your own health? Do you work too many hours in the office but feel depleted and undervalued by your employer? Girlfriend, it’s time to set some boundaries. Look after you first and foremost and when your cup is full you can overflow to everyone and everything else in your life with love and joy. Only when I set boundaries with my time, schedule, technology, social life and clients did I really feel grounded and in control of my life. Boundaries create breathing space.
5. Self-Discipline: Do you find us humans are innately lazy? How often do you find people slack off, failing to do their job properly and not giving people, their career or life their best effort? It’s very comforting to take the ‘easy’ route or to not try too hard – perhaps then you won’t fail? Developing self-discipline is imperative if you are going to change those self-defeating thought patterns and self-sabotaging habits. Do what you say, give your best and discipline yourself to do the things you don’t ‘feel’ like doing yet know you must in order to live the best version of yourself – this habit alone will change everything for you.
  • If I can improve my life you too can improve your life.

Five habits

  1. Actively listen
Think about someone you enjoy talking to. Do they try to have their say whenever possible or are they actively engaged in what you are saying? When you talk to your friend are you usually worried about what you are going to say next? If you are anything like me then this distracted you and you never fully paid attention to what your friend was saying. Once I realized this and started working on my listening skills, I saw my personal relationships grow drastically. I started to enjoy my conversations more and I could tell my friends did too.
2.Don’t reach for your phone when you wake up
How many of you check your FB or Twitter feed as soon as you wake up? Who can blame you? You just woke up and you want to relax but before you know it thirty minutes has passed by and you stumble out of bed. If this situation is familiar then you know you could be more productive. Instead, try reading 5 pages of a book as soon as you wake up. This will wake you up more naturally and you won’t have the feeling of having wasted your time. Once I developed this habit, my mornings became very productive and this caused a domino effect throughout my day. I realized that how I begin my day will greatly affect what happens throughout my day.
3. Learn something new that interests you
When is the last time you tried learning something new? It could be learning Javascript to learning how to cook a meal. I told myself at the beginning of the summer that I was going to teach myself how to learn SQL which is a coding language. After about the first week I started to lose interest and by the second week I gave up all together. I realized that if I wanted to enjoy learning a new skill that I would need to be interested it in. Instead of learning code everyday, I decided I was going to write one answer on Quora everyday since I have always enjoyed writing. Do you know what it feels like to wake up and actually be excited about your day? It makes the world of difference.
4. Meditate
You probably read that and thought “Not this again”. I understand that have probably read that and maybe even tried it and it wasn’t for you. I completely understand. When I tried to meditate for the first time I couldn’t focus for that long of a time. However, I tried again but with the box breathing technique which anyone can learn. I only do it for 5 minutes a day but the feeling afterward is amazing. Whenever I stress out, I find my mind tends to race and this makes it difficult to think. After I meditate, my thoughts are not everywhere and I can then process everything that is going on.
5. Read before bed
Have you ever told yourself that you would start that book? It might be a book that has been sitting on your bookshelf or one that a friend has recommended. You might have told yourself that you just don’t have time and I don’t blame you. We all have busy schedules and things to do. However, that’s the same thing I used to tell myself before I started to read before bed. I challenged myself that I was going to read just 5 pages before bed everyday. I started to do this and I slowly increased this amount to 10 pages a day. Before I knew it I had read more books in 2 months than I have in the past 2 years. Instead of checking your Instagram feed, I challenge you to read just 5 pages before going to bed. Who knows you might surprise yourself.

25 Habits

Below is a list of 25 habits that are key in helping you build a more successful life.  These habits range in different areas of life; it is important to address various areas instead of focusing solely in one area and neglecting others.

1. Take responsibility for everything that happens in your life.

Responsibility allows you to take control of the results in your life.  when you are in control, you are not constrained or limited by external factors.  Do not blame outside forces or things that may have happened in the past—accept all that has happened and learn how to utilize it moving forward.  Doing so will limit your thinking and ability to move forward.

2. Focus on gratitude.

It’s difficult to be angry, frustrated, jealous, or upset when you are focused on the positive things that you already have.  It’s often the most important things that are already in our lives that get overlooked such as our family, our friends, our health, and even our homes.  There are always people who are less fortunate and have to live in worst circumstances.

3. Find the good in all situations.

Not every situation we will encounter will be positive but learning to find something good or valuable from it will shift your perspective and benefit you.  Only focus on the negative if you can learn from it somehow to help yourself or help others.

4. Be solution focused, not just problem focused.
