During a flare-up of Crohn's — a type of inflammatory bowel disease — should eat foods that are gentle on their stomach and intestines to help their GI tract heal. "It's such a personal thing; I see people that are able to eat everything and never have a problem," Rumsey says. "But in general, low-fiber diets help."
