The Meaning of Life

Learn
Despite the chaos, vicissitudes and competing commitments, our purpose is to learn. There is a lesson in everything we undertake, observe or create and it took me over a decade to realize this while working in a toxic environment.
Everyone smiled, everyone spoke the right words, made promises, and put on a good show but that all it ever was: a show. They did teach me a valuable lesson however: Nice things don’t just happen, we make them happen. Every task, every travel visit, every person I met, was another opportunity to learn, seize, advance, so that I no longer had to rely on other people to reach my personal goals. I believe I had to go through that awful experience in order to crystallize that lesson in my mind enabling me to take a leap of faith on myself and jump.
Learning will not come without bruises
Learning will not be devoid of failure
True learning will REQUIRE you to stumble and fall. repeatedly.
I changed my perspective described by Ryan Holiday in his book “The Obstacle is the way”. Change your perspective lens in order to view obstacles as pathways to new opportunities and help you navigate around, under, over, through but always advancing and learning.
