The Meaning of Life

Uncertainty
Yep. That’s pretty much it. For one word. But I have to prove my point right? So, here are some examples.
  1. Even your birth was an uncertainty. Ironic, isn’t it? You won the race among millions of other sperms and hit the eggs at the right time, to make your mother bear you. You didn’t see that, but that’s what it is. If you were even a millisecond late to hit the egg, you wouldn’t be here to ask a question on quora. That’s not just for you. My birth, or the birth of any other person, was so an uncertainty.
  2. Your death is also uncertain. You don’t know when you’ll die. (If you don’t commit suicide, of course )Hundreds of people die of age, or from accidents, or from diseases, each day. You may think that if you remain healthy, you will live long. But the sad part is that, it is not true. Health is for when you’re alive. The probability that you may die, like any other person of your age, is the same. (expect someone suffering from a life taking disease) That probability is going to increase with your age, but, you never know when you’ll die.
  3. If you’ll get a highly paid and respectful job, or not, or you’ll earn a lot from your business, or not, is uncertain. You can increase your chances by getting valuable degrees, or thinking the right way, or investing in safe environments, but there is a certain level of uncertainty to that as well. There are certain risk factors that may contribute to your success or your demise, and you can’t dictate those. That’s uncertainty for you.
That’s it folks. You never know what will happen. Who thought Leicester city will win the Premier League cup? Who thought Donald Trump would be the President of USA? (Just a Joke) We just have to marry the fact that our life is full of uncertainties and life in itself, is an uncertainty. And who knows, you might be the next Bill Gates.
